Arts on the Coast set the host first ever virtual art show online , May 18 thru August 17, 2020
What a strange trip this has been... the first five months of 2020 that is. Arts on the Coast had so many plans including quarterly meetings, art shows, classes and workshops, not to mention a coffee table art resource book to showcase more art than ever.
Recently, the Arts on the Coast executive board met to discuss how we could continue to serve the membership, in particular come up with a way to help current members be active, while providing a safe way for the public to still view, enjoy and appreciate art.
That said, we would like to welcome all 2020 Arts on the Coast members to participate in a virtual art show, starting on May 18 thru August 17, 2020, online at artsonthecoast.org. There is no entry fee to participate.
If you are a current 2020 Arts on the Coast member and would like to participate, here is how:
• Select 5-8 images of your work (iPhone or smart phone images work well),
• Email your images to: artsonthecoastaoc@gmail.com. Please provide TITLE, SIZE, MEDIUM and PRICE of each piece,
• Or, text your images to 912-398-5776. Please include TITLE, SIZE, MEDIUM and PRICE for each piece,
• Artwork deadline is the COB on Friday, May 15, 2020,
• Optional - you may provide a one-paragraph artists bio.
If a viewer expresses interest in an artist's work and wants to make a purchase, the transaction shall take place between the artist and the buyer direct. The artist will be responsible for managing and handling delivery, and gets 100% of the sale.
