ARTWORK STATEMENT: Our society has developed a high-tech mentality over the last decade. In my painting "Life Is Beautiful" I challenge you to look at the overall view, not just the details. Step back from the seemingly ugly wood storks and look at the overall design. Notice how graceful they are when flying or moving in the water. We should develop this attitude toward our fellow inhabitants. To quote Plato: “Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.”
