We are excited to invite you to participate in Arts on the Coast’s first annual Art in Bloom. This is an opportunity for you to showcase your creativity and talent as you interpret a work of juried art by our talented local artists.

Our goal is to inspire the public to view art through the prism of nature’s beauty, and to give your work exposure to a broad audience. There is no registration fee, instead we are asking of your time, material, and talent in exchange for recognition in all of our printed marketing material and at our event, one complimentary ticket, as well as knowledge you are making a difference in our community.

Deadline for artists to apply is March 1, 2025.

The concept for Art in Bloom is to use floral and organic material to interpret a work of juried art by one of our local artists. The arrangement should express the essence or spirit of the work of art and be in scale with the painting. It should not over power the subject. Consider the elements of design, color, texture, shape, size, line, pattern, light in the artwork and the materials you choose. Organize components according to the design principles of balance, proportion, rhythm, contrast, dominance, and scale. We are hoping to inspire guests with your creativity and the beauty of your design paired with amazing art.
