Art in Bloom is the first juried event and fundraiser for Arts on the Coast. 20-25 works will be selected for this event and paired with a floral designer who will reinterpret the artwork in floral form. ***This does not mean you need to paint flowers*** The subject matter is wide open.

The event will take place on April 13, 2024, at Heartwood and will feature heavy hors d’oeuvres and live entertainment in addition to spectacular art!

Goals
We are looking to fund an art center where we can offer additional gallery space, workshops, and more forms of art to engage our community. We would like to allocate funds towards a scholarship for rising artists as well as extend our current gallery hours.

Eligibility
Participants must be members of Arts on the Coast ($40 per year) and 18 years of age and older.

Fees
No Entry fees. Proceeds from art sales at Art in Bloom will be split 50/50 with half going to Arts on the Coast and half going to the artist.

Deadlines
The deadline for entries is March 1, 2024. All entries must be submitted online at www.artstonthecoast.org with a high-quality image(s) of the work.

Artwork has a minimum size of 24x24 inches and a maximum size of 3x4 feet. Works must be framed or on panels that are at least 1.5 inches thick. Must have end to end wiring.

Artists will be notified of acceptance by March 15, 2024. Accepted artists will receive one complimentary ticket to Art in Bloom.
