Visual arts are artistic creations we can see. They appeal to our visual senses and exist in permanent form. Any art forms can be used to create visual art including drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, computer art and filmmaking. From the sculptors of the Renaissance to abstract painters, and from black and white photography to moving pictures, these are all examples of visual arts. If you can see it, then it’s part of visual art.
