If you are a 2010 Arts On The Coast member, automatically your membership entitles you to an Online Gallery at artsonthecoast.org. July 1st marked the start of something beautiful with three prominent members of AOC — local photographer Kathy Hatcher, fine artist Patty Mathews and painter Sarah Volker submitting their works of art and bios. Officially, site visitors and art entusiasts can view AOC galleries and feel free to provide comments, reach out and approach for commission or purchase options.
This is a terrific opportunity for artists to showcase their work. If you are an artist and you aren’t quite ready to make the jump to hyper-gallery-website-world, it really is a great platform in which to start the leap. It’s really quite easy.
Although this gallery immediately appeals to the visual arts, know that the other various areas of AOC can utilize this opportunity to share too! For example:
CULINARY ARTS knows that everyone loves a great recipe. Feel free to send in your favorite — your specialty, photos and all. We’re looking to grow this aspect of AOC and we just need some feedback and input.
DANCE, DRAMA & MUSIC features a wealth of talent and opportunity throughout our region at various venues and means of social events. Send along photos and information so it can be promoted, especially if it is a historical event. Every year these rich aspects of the arts can provide a variety of opportunity to local, ‘blossoming’ performing artists.
HOW IT WORKS
There are certain criteria by which each artist must meet to qualify for online gallery space at Arts On The Coast:
1.) You must be a member of Arts On The Coast. If you are not, the membership dues are actually quite minimal so join today and get ready to populate your space.

2.) Artist MUST submit a minimum of 8, no more than 12 pieces
- Each image must be supplied digitally in JPG format
- Image size should not exceed 1000 pixels (wide or high) and supply image credit desired to be presented with each piece
3.) Artist MUST submit via the following methods:

5.) Art Change Out will occur quarterly. All pieces submitted after these dates will be uploaded at the next change out.

6.) Galleries are good for one year (Jan 1 – December 31), so don’t allow your membership to lapse.
